i used deadly paradox for running, and it used to work on the stances, so i will check if this is a deliberate change or, if it is just being glitchy or something... i miss it working properly T__T

Bug? lol... except that the Deadly Paradox skill description still suggests it SHOULD affect stances too. Or maybe Serpent's Quickness is bugged too in that it DOES affect stances?

Perhaps we should report the bug that Deadly Paradox doesn't affect the next stance activated during its duration... Afterall, that definitely is a bug that needs to be fixed.
Now the only use I find for it besides Feigned Neutrality is for Shadow Form (and the total energy cost for DP => Arcane Echo => SF =>... AE(as SF) => DP => SF ... is ridiculous).

So what if the class overall has been buffed? That doesn't make up for introducing false descriptions to skills, adding in bugs while claiming to be removing them and generally nerfing skills that really don't need to be nerfed. My ID+ build had to be changed to compensate (since no Assassin skills used in that build were buffed, but rather several nerfed).

Fixing that would be fair. (Anyone checked this lately to see if it was?)

From a non-programming conceptual approach, no one stance should be effected by any other, becauses stances override each other, so I do think this is the appropriate direction to take skill operation.

It didn't work this way previously because the skill activation happens before the effect of stance replacement. Conceptually both of these should happen at the same time, programmatically that's impossible in single-thread apps, but it can be coded in such a way that the end result matches the concept.

Arcane Mimicry will become the non-form elite skill of target ally (paraphrase). The Ranger Expertise attribute reduces the energy cost of a very specific and not at all logical list of skills (like Mending Touch, even though it is listed as a spell, because it is a touch skill, benefits from Expertise). My point being that there are other skills that have specific exemptions for balance considerations, while these skills (Deadly Paradox and Serpent's Quickness) do not.

As it stands, there's no reason (other than balance concerns) that it shouldn't work like this. Both skills say they affect the recharge time of skills. As long as SQ or DP are active, the next skill should have their recharge reduced. Because SQ and DP are both stances, activating a stance will cause them to end, but they should still reduce the recharge time of the stance.

I'm guessing this is a balance change and someone made a mistake in the update notes. Or they still have not corrected the (apparently) misworded skill description.

I wish they would change it back though. Deadly Paradox, Dark Escape and Dash made for a great running combination for my characters without running skills. They all used non exclusive attributes, and they were all stances so you didn't have to stop to cast.
